Are These Strange Concepts?

  • To strive for restoration and support of healing systems when they have broken down by using methods which are in harmony with natural processes.
  • The consideration that most illnesses have an underlying cause in aspects of lifestyle, diet and/or habits of the individual.
  • To educate the patient and emphasize self-responsibility when talking of health and to realize the benefit of the doctor – patient relationship.
  • Health and disease comes from the complex interaction of physical, dietary, environmental, emotional, genetic, lifestyle, etc.
  • To prevent minor illnesses from progressing into more serious or chronic disease states.
  • To educate the patient on the principles which can prevent major illnesses.
  • Health is a state of complete physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being and not merely the absence of disease.

There are so many in our community who are ill and what you may describe to be as “imbalanced” and “just unwell.” Perhaps they are eating very poorly, and always on a diet of junk food. Perhaps they exercise very little or not exercising at all. Perhaps, like candy, they are also popping a lot of prescription medications daily.

The rise of diseases and the prevalence of modern day illnesses continue to grow in communities where there is lack of holistic health education and preventative medicine as resources. Fortunately, many communities now have resources to preventative medicine. And, rest assured, there are many healthcare professionals specific to holistic medicine who can help significantly with these health concerns. The list of concepts that were just listed are the actual thought processes and strategies held with importance by these practitioners.

Many of the health care practitioners who practice in the treatment of disease by attending to the root cause of the symptoms are found to be most effective at resolving complex health challenges for many people worldwide. This holistic field comprises of Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Clinical Nutritionists, Herbalists, Hypotherapist, Aryuvedic practitioners, etc. From chronic to acute, these conditions are being helped with their unique natural approach medicine, formally deemed as “alternative medicine.” Although, in the case of history, these fields were always the primary and utilized healing modalities for thousands of years. We must remember that Western Medicine has only been developed for the past 100 years and that intake of prescription medications or surgical removals are not necessarily correcting the cause of today’s many illnesses.

Ask yourself, are these strange concepts? If not, you may just be pleasantly surprised to receive your health and healing from these natural approaches. Therefore, I invite you to experience and/or continue your health in abundance with your holistic health practitioner today.
